What Can I Expect from a Student or Young Persons Therapy Session?
In the first session, we will take time to understand what has been happening and what the young person hopes might change. There is no pressure to talk about everything at once — they are always in control of what they share.
Sessions may include:
- Talking at a comfortable pace
- Creative or reflective activities (where helpful)
- Gentle skills or strategies to manage difficult feelings
- Space to explore worries, friendships, or identity in a supportive way
Our priority is to create a warm, respectful, and trusting relationship where the young person feels safe to express themselves. We regularly check in to ensure sessions feel helpful and supportive.
